Building the tools that help science move faster.

I grew up in Chennai and trained as an engineer at the College of Engineering, Guindy. My early career was in IT — including years at Infosys — where I learned how good software quietly changes the way whole industries work.

But I kept noticing a gap. The scientists doing the world's most important research — discovering drugs, running clinical trials, managing quality in manufacturing — were often held back by tools that didn't speak their language. I believed technology could serve science far better than it did.

So in 2008, my co-founder and I started Zifo to close that gap. We didn't take the easy road of building generic software. We chose to go deep — to become genuinely bilingual in the languages of both science and technology.
